Carpe Diem

Well, this is the beginning of what I hope will be a long diatribe of verbal diarrhea. But I hope that it does not end with just that.
When we just talk but don't follow with action, then all is lost.

Today I open my attack on the American political system. A system that does not give people the right to vote for a candidate of their choice, but a candidate of the political party. AT one point in the history of the US, politicians were honorable men of a profession. Now they are mere lawyers misusing and misleading the public. They claim to give of choice, but look what we get. Clinton and Bush. Where are the Lincolns, Jeffersons, or Roosevelts?
Someone must speak out against this incredibly stupid and unjust system. Does our Rome need to have a military overthrow to give the people back our government, or was the government never our to start.

Stop the rich from control our destiny.
My first suggestion is to reduce the pay of the congressman and senator. If the pay for this position was linked to the average wage of an American family, maybe we would get real representation.
